CyberSatGov brings together key influencers from the government, satellite, and cyber communities to talk about the growing security threats to satellite assets. The war in Ukraine has brought this topic front and center to a lot of discussions, and CyberSatGov — the OG cybersecurity and satellite event — will be the perfect forum. We have major speakers from the likes of the U.S. Space Force, Department of Homeland Security, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), DARPA, NOAA, National Reconnaissance Office, and the U.S. State Department, among others. It is our best ever line-up and we can’t wait to bring the event to you.

Our November edition of Via Satellite is full of fantastic content. My colleague Rachel Jewett went all the way to Des Moines, Iowa to talk to executives from U.S. farming giant John Deere about their plans for satellite. With a newly released RFP, we get some unique insights into how John Deere may use satellite going forward.

In a major exclusive, we talk to Intelsat’s recently appointed CEO Dave Wajsgras about his early observations of Intelsat. He addresses those SES rumors, as well as talks more broadly about his vision for Intelsat as the company enters into a pivotal decade. Marisa Torrieri looks at how satellite imagery has played a role in the conflict in Ukraine, which has also been one of the most interesting subplots of satellite during this conflict.

It is hard to believe we are coming to the end of 2022. We look forward to the final round of events, and we hope you have had a safe, healthy and productive year.
